OpticArchery comes from a working archery coach who wanted every archer to have a coach's eye, even when they train alone.
I've been shooting since 2012, when I picked up a bow at ten years old. At seventeen I took my coaching course, and archery went from my sport to something I help other people fall in love with.
Then the COVID years came, and like everyone, my archery world went quiet. Instead of putting the bow down, I started building. For my bachelor project I made a tool that could watch an archer's form and give feedback: the first, rough version of the idea behind OpticArchery. In December 2025 I picked it back up, rebuilt it from the ground up, and turned it into the tool you see today.
Here's the thing every archer knows: your coach can't be there for every training session. Most of your arrows are shot alone, with no one to tell you what your form is really doing. That's the gap OpticArchery fills. It's the coaching eye that stays with you between sessions, so you keep improving even when you train by yourself.
I coach beginners, archers getting ready for local competitions, and youth training for their games. What I see every day is how much archery has to gain from technology, not just for the pros, but for the everyday archers working to get better. The professionals already have people and tools watching their every move. I want that same feedback in everyone else's hands. And because you can tune OpticArchery so finely, it grows with you, all the way up to the top level.
