What do I need to use it?

A Windows PC and any webcam or camera you already have. That's the whole setup: no sensors, no special gear, and nothing clipped to your bow. Just give the camera enough room to see your whole shot.

What kind of archery does it work with?

Right now OpticArchery is built around recurve form: the checks and coaching tips are tuned for it. More disciplines are on the roadmap.

Is it for beginners or experienced archers?

Both. You choose what it checks and how strict it is, so it can gently guide a beginner or push a competitive archer. It grows with you as you improve.

Is my data private?

Yes. OpticArchery runs on your own PC, and your shot videos and data stay there. Nothing about your shooting is uploaded anywhere.

Do I need an internet connection?

Only once, the first time, to activate your copy. After that OpticArchery runs entirely on your computer, so you can use it at the range or anywhere with no signal.

How much does it cost?

It's free while OpticArchery is in beta. Early testers are helping shape it, and if that ever changes you'll hear it from us first.

When does it launch?

Can coaches use it for a whole squad?

Yes. Set up a profile for each archer you coach, review anyone's shots and progress, and back your feedback with exactly what happened on the shot.
